Life rules of one of the most famous Masters of the fight with two swords, Niten'ichi-ryū Musashi Myamoto.
Niten'ichi-ryū (Japanese 二天 一流 niten'ichi-ryū; Polish: style - "two heavens as one"; also nitō-ryū, a style of fighting with two swords) - the martial art of korū-bujutsu involving the fight of a daishō, i.e. two swords: a shorter wakizashi and a longer katana.
The technique of this style was to prepare the action with a longer sword and end it with a shorter one. The use of two swords was regarded in Japan as the pinnacle of fencing skills. Most warriors used only one sword.
The greatest master of this school, who also made it famous all over Japan, was the legendary swordsman Musashi Miyamoto. His posthumous Buddhist name is Niten (Japanese 二天).
