in Martial Arts and Teachers, Lecturers of Martial Arts and its Philosophy.
About Hanshi Gilbert Ballantine ( Nickname : Bulterrier )
who was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa in Martial Arts Science:
Gilbert Ballantine is as a living legend, Gilbert Ballantine is honored with the rank of 10th Dan Red Belt and the title of Hanshi by the Academy of Martial Arts Science Commission for his entire contribution to Dutch Kick Boxing and Muay Thai and Free Fight - MMA as well as teaching others for many years.
Gilbert "The Bull Terrier" Ballantine is a retired Dutch kickboxer and Muay Thai fighter. He is a 9 time Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion 3 time European Champion in Kick Boxing. After his career in Kickboxing and Muay Thai, Gilbert Ballantine also took part in Mixed Martial Arts - MMA - Free Fight competitions, winning 3 times in the Dutch Championships.
Gillbert Ballantine received many awards and distinctions for his entire career as a player and coach, including Hall of Fame, Hall of Champions, Warrior Bushi Award and many others.
Currently, Gilbert Ballantine handles Personal Security and Personal Protection for V.I.P in the Amsterdam area in the Netherlands.
